Lex (lex.africa) is a lawyer consultation platform connecting clients with LSK-verified advocates in Kenya and across Africa.

• Name, phone number, email address
• M-Pesa transaction details
• Case descriptions submitted before sessions
• Session recordings and transcripts (with your consent)
• Device and usage data

• To facilitate bookings and payments
• To generate AI session summaries
• To verify lawyer LSK credentials
• To send SMS booking confirmations
• To improve our platform

Sessions are recorded only with explicit consent from both parties. Recordings are used solely to generate your AI summary and are deleted within 7 days unless you are on a Pro plan.

M-Pesa payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your M-Pesa PIN or full transaction details beyond confirmation receipts.

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Paystack (M-Pesa and card payment processing)
• LiveKit (video sessions)
• AWS (secure storage)
• AI Summarization Service (anonymized transcripts only)

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@lex.africa.
